What is a language certification?

A language certification is an official document issued by an authorised organisation that states a student has achieved a level of language knowledge in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

The tables below show which language certificates are accepted by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and their equivalence to the CRFR levels. Each degree program will grant credits or partial credits according to the terms of the respective Department.
