Italian Language Helpdesk

The new Italian Language Helpdesk is now available to foreign undergrad & postgrad students, researchers and visiting professors who find themselves in need of individual, tailored support for the improvement of their Italian language abilities.

What is it?

The Helpdesk consists in online one-on-one meetings with our Italian Language Instructor, Dr Mirella Pederzoli, with a maximum duration of 30 minutes.

Who is it targeted at?

The service is targeted at foreign undergrad & postgrad students, researchers and visiting professors with a minimum language level of A2 in Italian, who would like to receive personalized advice to improve and fine-tune their competence in the Italian language.

What can we help you with?

Participants can ask for assistance in one of the following areas:

  • written and oral production in the academic context
  • tools and techniques for supporting self-study
  • in-depth grammar explanations for better understanding curricular topics

For instance, participants can ask for help when writing academic texts in Italian, such as formal emails, powerpoint presentations, written assignments, reports, etc.; ask for advice on how to improve their oral production performances such as lessons or tutoring sessions, presentations, exams; receive suggestions on the most suitable tools and techniques to organise and structure self-study; ask for in-depth grammar explanations so as to bridge previous knowledge gaps.

How does it work?

Please choose a day and a time from the calendar below. To book your meeting, write an email to corsi.italiano@unimore.it and wait for confirmation. Together with it, you will receive the Meet link to connect to the virtual room.

PLEASE NOTE: You can book a meeting until 2 working days before it.
