Basic and Elementary courses

In addition to the regular courses for exchange students and scholars, the Language Centre offers two A1-level Italian language courses to the international students enrolled in English-taught Master's Degrees at UNIMORE. Such courses are therefore aimed at developing students' basic skills in the Italian language and promoting their integration into the Italian social fabric.

  • The BASIC A1.1 course is designed for absolute beginners, with no prior knowledge of the Italian language;
  • the ELEMENTARY A1.2 course is designed for foreign students with a basic knowledge of the Italian language.

N.B. The Basic A1.1 and Elementary A1.2 courses do not grant Educational Credits (CFUs).

 

BASIC A1.1 COURSE - A.Y. 2023-24

The course includes 50 hours of frontal lessons and a final written and spoken exam (May/June 2024). To be admitted to the final exam, students must attend at least 70% of classes.

 

The BASIC A1.1 course will begin on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13th, 2023.

ELEMENTARY A1.2 COURSE - A.Y. 2023-24

The ELEMENTARY A1.2 course starts on [date to be defined].

The course includes 36 hours of frontal lessons and a final written and spoken exam. To be admitted to the final exam, students must attend at least 70% of classes.
